Monday Blues: v središču kolekcije je preobrazba

Svet ameriških modnih oblikovalcev (CFDA)  in oblikovalec Monday Blues na dogodku koledarja CFDA. 11. februarja 2026 je na dogodku Break FREE NYFW Runway Event and Charity Show znamka Monday Blues, Studio pripravila predstavitev, ki je presegla okvire mode in vstopila v prostor osebnih izpovedi.

Paris Runway Official – vrhunska ekipa ustvarjalcev

»Made to Be Remembered« ni le slogan, temveč izjava.

Monday Blues, Studio. namerava nadaljevati predstavitve v New Yorku in mednarodno, s Parizom kot prihodnjim središčem pozornosti.

V nekaj, kar bo dokumentirano in zapomnjeno.

Prava lepota. Prava umetnost.

The Council of Fashion Designers of America, Inc. (CFDA) Designer, Monday Blues, has Film Director, Brian Metcalf, walk the Runway for a special cause at CFDA Calendar Event – Break Free NYFW with Paris Runway Official

On February 11, 2026, during Break FREE NYFW Runway Event and Charity Show, Monday Blues, Studio. delivered a presentation that transcended fashion and entered the realm of testimony.

Monday Blues (@mondaybluesstudio) presented twice that day. Earlier in the day you could have found them at Men’s Day, as part of the official CFDA Calendar at the Mercedes Benz Showroom (770 11th Ave) and later at another official calendar show at The Cathedral (429 W 20th St), Break Free NYFW, which marked the only official charity event on the Council of Fashion Designers of America Calendar this season at New York Fashion Week.

With Paris Runway Official (@parisrunwayofficial) at both locations with their media teams capturing moments with Monday Blues… The upscale media agency found the show at Break Free NYFW to be one that not only showcased fashion, but hope. A place where shadows were transitioning into light.

Hosted by the Break Free Foundation (@breakfreenyfw), the annual benefit challenges the industry’s long-standing culture of perfection by centering narratives often left in the shadows such as addiction, mental illness, eating disorders, grief, and rebirth. These are truths that quietly permeate fashion’s most polished rooms, yet are rarely addressed with honesty or care.

Break Free NYFW brings those shadows to light. With 7 designers presenting at the rare event, Monday Blues was there as an official CFDA designer.

Paris Runway Official – Top Talent of Photographers, videographers and creatives

Paris Runway Official (@parisrunwayofficial) was there to capture the CFDA Calendar Event with a team of photographers, videographers, models, creatives, magazines and more. From Grazia to Iconic Magazine – Paris Runway Official brought a team to capture the CFDA Designer, Monday Blues, Studio.

A Cinematic Opening

The show opened not with a traditional model, but with filmmaker and producer Brian Metcalf, who walked the runway wearing “Couture Coffee,” a sculptural one-of-one look crafted from repurposed coffee bags and elevated with luxury detailing.

Known for his work in Los Angeles film and as a Director at Paris Runway Official, Metcalf brought a cinematic gravity to the runway. His presence was symbolic… a bridge between storytelling on screen and storytelling through garment. From his experience in film to his long standing relationships within media, his decision to open the show was an act of alignment with a cause larger than aesthetics.

Brian (@bametcalf1) has worked in the film industry for many years attending some of the largest events in the world such as the Golden Globes, Emmy’s, along with features in Harper’s Bazaar, the NY Post and more on his work in the film industry as well as his involvement in fashion.

In a space where perfection is often manufactured, this moment felt intentionally human. To have someone like Brian Metcalf, a natural storyteller in film, open the runway show felt right. The story was about to unfold.

Made to Be Remembered

The collection, titled “Made to Be Remembered,” is an extension of the brand’s ethos: garments as artifacts, not seasonal commodities.

Founded quietly in 2019 and gaining wider recognition in 2022, Monday Blues, Studio. operates from New York City… a place whose rawness, ambition, contradiction, and survival instinct deeply inform the brand’s emotional tone. The city’s grit is embedded in the textiles. Its pace is visible in the silhouettes.

Each piece is constructed in limited quantities often as one-of-one designs… reinforcing rarity, intention, and permanence. Repurposed coffee bags, industrial materials, and luxury embellishments coexist in a tension that feels distinctly New York. Discarded becomes collectible. Forgotten becomes revered.

The collection centers on transformation. What was once overlooked is reconstructed into something worthy of preservation. What was once survival becomes a statement.

Anonymity as Intention

In an industry obsessed with personality and fame, Monday Blues, Studio. maintains intentional anonymity. The focus remains firmly on the work rather than individual identity. The garments speak. The runway becomes the voice. There is something powerful in that restraint.

Creation as Survival

When asked why they create, the answer is clear: Creation is survival, communication, and legacy.

“Made to Be Remembered” is not just a tagline but it is a declaration. These garments are meant to live beyond trend cycles. They are designed to be remembered by the wearer, by the room, and by time itself.

After the show, select pieces will be available via private inquiry through the brand’s Instagram, maintaining the exclusivity that defines the house.

A Legacy in Motion

The long-term vision is ambitious yet deliberate: to build a legacy luxury house rooted in storytelling, rarity, and cultural impact. Monday Blues, Studio. plans to continue presenting in New York and internationally, with Paris as a future focus.

But on February 11th, in a showroom and a cathedral in Manhattan, the message was already clear.

Fashion can transform.
Fashion can be remembered.

Fashion can preserve what once didn’t look like it should be preserved. How is that really any different from life? Break Free took the shadows of addiction, mental illness, etc. and found a way to transform those things into preservation. Into hope. Into a Runway Show benefiting thousands. Into something that will be remembered… documented.

Then we have Monday Blues. From coffee bags to ‘coffee couture’. What once looked like it couldn’t be saved (a coffee bean bag) is now being presented as a beautiful couture garment with rich embellishments at the largest show in the USA – New York Fashion Week. Monday Blues was also part of the official CFDA Calendar. An anonymous designer took what some saw as unworthy and made it into something that was made to be remembered. True beauty, true art.
