S prepoznavnim čutom za stil in brezčasno eleganco zdaj združuje italijansko prefinjenost z ameriško tradicijo ter vodi blagovno znamko v novo, vznemirljivo obdobje.

GRAZIA: Andrea, iskrene čestitke za novo vlogo kreativnega direktorja pri Mensuits.com. Kako se je začelo to sodelovanje in kaj te je navdihnilo, da sprejmeš ta izziv?
Andrea Denver: Najlepša hvala! To je bila res razburljiva pot. Vedno sem imel veliko strast do klasične moške mode in krojenja, in od prvega trenutka sem čutil, da je Mensuits.com popolna izbira. Njihova zgodba, vrednote in poslanstvo – ponuditi elegantne, kakovostne moške obleke po dostopnih cenah – so me resnično pritegnili. Ko mi je Pierre Dabit, ki vodi podjetje, predstavil svojo vizijo, sem takoj vedel, da gre za nekaj posebnega. Nekaj, pri čemer želim biti del rasti in razvoja.
GRAZIA: Mensuits.com ima izjemno zgodovino. Izvira iz družinskega podjetja Giorgio Men’s Wear v Chattanoogi, ki obstaja že od 70. let. Nam lahko poveš kaj več o tej zapuščini?
Andrea: Seveda. Giorgio Men’s Wear je bil ustanovljen pred več kot 50 leti in danes ga vodi že tretja generacija družine, s Pierrom na čelu. Začelo se je kot majhna družinska trgovina v Chattanoogi in sčasoma preraslo v pravo institucijo na ameriškem jugu – od Severne Karoline in Tennesseeja do Georgie in Alabame. Cela generacija gospodov se je oblačila pri Giorgiu. Ta pristnost in tradicija sta danes osrčje Mensuits.com.

GRAZIA: Z družino Dabit si razvil tesno povezavo. Kakšno je bilo sodelovanje z njimi?
Andrea: Sodelovanje s Pierrom in njegovo družino je bilo resnično užitek. Njihova predanost in strast do posla sta neverjetni. Uspelo jim je ohraniti toplino in oseben pristop družinskega podjetja, obenem pa zgraditi spoštovano blagovno znamko. V vsem, kar počnejo, je prisotna iskrenost – to pa je nekaj, kar zelo cenim in si tudi sam prizadevam ohraniti.
GRAZIA: Mensuits.com je znan po tem, da luksuz približa ljudem. Kako ohranjate ravnovesje med kakovostjo in dostopnostjo?
Andrea: To je res srž našega dela. Naš cilj je, da vsak moški dobi priložnost, da izgleda najbolje – brez da bi zato zapravil celo premoženje. Stil ne bi smel biti privilegij. Zato si prizadevamo, da ponujamo vrhunsko izdelavo in kakovostne materiale po pošteni ceni. Letos smo predstavili kolekcijo Made in Italy, izdelano iz 100 % merino volne. Kolekcija je prefinjena in luksuzna, a še vedno cenovno dostopna – pravi luksuz za vsakogar.
GRAZIA: Kakšna je tvoja vizija prihodnosti znamke kot kreativni direktor?
Andrea: Moje sanje so, da Mensuits.com razširimo na mednarodni trg in ponovimo uspeh, ki ga je Giorgio Men’s Wear dosegel na ameriškem jugu. Želimo deliti naše vrednote – kakovost, eleganco in dostopnost – s svetom. Prav tako načrtujem razširitev kolekcije: pletenine, hlače in druge osnovne kose, da ustvarimo celovit življenjski slog za sodobnega gospoda.
GRAZIA: Sodeloval si z velikimi imeni, kot so Ralph Lauren, Hugo Boss, Brooks Brothers in MAC Cosmetics. Kako so te izkušnje vplivale na tvojo ustvarjalno vizijo?
Andrea: Vsako poglavje v moji karieri mi je prineslo nekaj edinstvenega. Diplomiral sem iz komunikologije na Univerzi v Veroni in ta znanja sem povezal z izkušnjami v modnem svetu. Tako sem se naučil združevati pripovedovanje zgodb, estetiko in gradnjo blagovne znamke. Delo z vrhunskimi modnimi hišami mi je dalo globoko razumevanje, kako prepletati tradicijo z inovacijo, televizija pa me je naučila pomena pristnosti in povezovanja z ljudmi. Vse to zdaj prinašam v Mensuits.com – gradimo blagovno znamko, ki ni le oblačilo, temveč svet, s katerim se moški lahko poistovetijo.
GRAZIA: Kaj te najbolj žene v tem novem poglavju?
Andrea: Ustvariti nekaj, kar ima pomen in bo obstalo. Moške želim navdihniti, da ponovno odkrijejo moč dobrega oblačenja – da se počutijo samozavestno, elegantno in udobno v svoji koži. Moda je zame vedno bila sredstvo izražanja sebe. V Mensuits.com želimo ta izraz omogočiti vsem – brez kompromisov pri kakovosti ali prefinjenosti.

GRAZIA: Poleg Mensuits.com si vpet tudi v druge zanimive projekte. Nam zaupaš kaj več?
Andrea: Seveda. Vedno sem imel rad ustvarjalne in podjetniške izzive. Zelo ponosen sem na blagovno znamko Acosta Tequila, ki sem jo soustanovil s svojim partnerjem Frankom Acosto. Navdušeni smo nad ustvarjanjem tekile, ki slavi obrt, pristnost in sodoben, prefinjen življenjski slog. V zadnjih letih se hitro širimo po ZDA in odziv je neverjeten. Delam pa tudi na projektu Casa Piada, novi restavracijski zgodbi, ki se trenutno pripravlja in bo kmalu odprla vrata. Gre za nekaj, kar mi je zelo pri srcu – prostor, kjer se združijo dobra hrana, kultura, skupnost in italijanska duša.

GRAZIA: Po govoricah naj bi se kmalu vrnil na ameriško televizijo. Je kaj resnice v tem?
Andrea: (Smeh) Tudi sam sem slišal te govorice! Z veseljem bi vam povedal več, a za zdaj še ne smem razkriti ničesar. Pustimo se presenetiti – odprt sem za vse, kar mi prinese prihodnost.

He’s walked the runways of the world, fronted campaigns for some of the biggest names in fashion, and appeared on international television, but this year, Andrea Denver has stepped into an exciting new role: Creative Director of Mensuits.com. With his unmistakable eye for style and timeless elegance, Andrea is now blending Italian refinement with American heritage, leading a new chapter for a brand with a remarkable story.
GRAZIA: Andrea, congratulations on your new role as Creative Director of Mensuits.com. How did this collaboration come to life, and what inspired you to take on this new challenge?
Andrea Denver: Thank you so much! It’s been such an exciting journey. I’ve always had a deep passion for classic menswear and tailoring, and Mensuits.com felt like the perfect fit from day one. The brand’s story, its values, and its mission to offer stylish, high-quality suits at accessible prices really resonated with me. When Pierre Dabit, who leads the company, shared his vision with me, I immediately knew this was something special, something I wanted to help grow and elevate.

GRAZIA: Mensuits.com has an incredible heritage. It was born from Giorgio Men’s Wear in Chattanooga, a family business that’s been around since the 1970s. Tell us more about this legacy.
Andrea: Absolutely. Giorgio Men’s Wear was founded over 50 years ago and is now in its third generation with Pierre at the helm. It started as a small family store in Chattanooga and has grown into a true institution across the American South, from North Carolina and Tennessee to Georgia and Alabama. Entire generations of gentlemen have been dressed by Giorgio’s. That authenticity and sense of tradition are at the heart of Mensuits.com today.
GRAZIA: You’ve built a close relationship with Pierre Dabit and his family. What has it been like working so closely together?
Andrea: Working with Pierre and his family has been an absolute pleasure. Their dedication and passion for the business are incredible. They’ve managed to preserve the warmth and personal touch of a family operation while growing into a respected brand. There’s a genuine sense of integrity in everything they do, and that’s something I deeply admire and share.
GRAZIA: Mensuits.com is known for making luxury accessible. How do you maintain that balance between quality and affordability?
Andrea: That’s really the soul of what we do. The goal has always been to give every man the chance to look his best — without needing to spend a fortune. Style shouldn’t be a privilege. That’s why we work tirelessly to offer excellent craftsmanship and premium fabrics at fair prices. This year, we launched our Made in Italy Collection, made entirely from 100% Merino wool. It’s sophisticated and upscale, yet still priced to make real luxury attainable.
GRAZIA: As Creative Director, what’s your vision for the brand’s future?
Andrea: My dream is to expand Mensuits.com internationally, bringing the same success that Giorgio Men’s Wear has had in the South of the U.S. to the rest of the world. We want to share our values of quality, elegance, and accessibility globally. I’m also planning to broaden our product line, introducing knitwear, trousers, and other essentials to create a full lifestyle offering for the modern gentleman.
GRAZIA: You’ve worked with major brands like Ralph Lauren, Hugo Boss, Brooks Brothers, and MAC Cosmetics and, of course, appeared on television. How have those experiences shaped your creative direction today?
Andrea: Every chapter of my career has taught me something unique. I graduated in Communication from the University of Verona, and combining that background with my experience as a fashion model has really helped me understand how to blend storytelling, aesthetics, and branding. Working with iconic fashion houses gave me a strong sense of how to mix tradition with innovation, and television taught me the power of authenticity and connection. I’m bringing all of that into Mensuits.com, building not just a brand, but a world that men can relate to and feel proud to be part of.

GRAZIA: What drives you most in this new chapter of your life?
Andrea: Creating something meaningful and lasting. I want to inspire men to rediscover the power of dressing well, to feel confident, elegant, and comfortable in their own skin. Fashion, to me, has always been about self-expression. At Mensuits.com, we’re making that expression accessible to everyone, without compromising on quality or sophistication.
GRAZIA: In addition to Mensuits.com, you’re also involved in other exciting ventures. Can you tell us a bit more about those?
Andrea: Yes, definitely. I’ve always loved exploring new creative and entrepreneurial projects. One that I’m really proud of is Acosta Tequila, which I co-founded with my partner Frank Acosta. It’s been such an exciting journey — we’re passionate about creating a tequila that celebrates craftsmanship, authenticity, and a modern, elevated lifestyle. Over the past few years, we’ve been expanding rapidly all over the United States, and it’s been amazing to see how warmly people have embraced the brand.
I’m also working on Casa Piada, a new restaurant concept that’s currently in progress and will be opening soon. It’s something close to my heart — a place that brings together great food, culture, and community with a touch of Italian soul.
GRAZIA: There’s a lot of buzz about you possibly returning to television in the U.S. Any truth to the rumors?
Andrea: (Laughs) I’ve heard those rumors too! I’d love to tell you more, but for now, I can’t say anything. Let’s just see what happens. I’m keeping an open mind for whatever the future holds.
