Horus, staroegipčanski duh, se utelesi v avtomatu z imenom Caroline, prepričan, da bo znova odkril človeško izkušnjo. Če roboti lahko razvijejo čustva, verjame, potem bodo zagotovo lahko tudi čutili. Toda jeklo ne trepeta.
Stroj reagira, vendar ne hrepeni.

Ne prosi, da bi bila optimizirana.
Ne želi biti nadgrajena.
