Pariz se preobrazi v večno modno pisto, kjer se preteklost in sedanjost zlijeta v popolno harmonijo, moda pa postane poezija. To je eleganca, ki ne sledi času – temveč ga presega. Kot svila, ki nežno drsi po koži, in zlata svetloba, ki se razliva po pariških bulvarjih, za seboj pušča nepozaben pečat miline, privlačnosti in prefinjene brezčasnosti.

Vsaka nepozabna modna zgodba se začne z idejo. Kaj je bilo izhodišče tega editoriala in kaj vas je navdihnilo za celoten koncept?
Zame je Pariz vedno začetek zgodbe. Po mestu lahko hodim ure in ure ter vedno znova odkrivam nove navdihe. Njegova arhitektura, vzdušje ter preplet zgodovine in sodobnega življenja ustvarjajo edinstveno atmosfero. Moda je zato povsem naravno postala del te pripovedi. Sodelovanje z mojim stilistom, katerega osebni slog izjemno občudujem, pa je poskrbelo, da se je celoten koncept razvil povsem spontano in organsko.
Pariz vsak dan fotografirajo milijoni ljudi, vaš editorial pa slavi nekatere njegove najbolj prepoznavne lokacije. Zakaj je bilo pomembno, da zgodbo poveste prav skozi te legendarne znamenitosti, in kaj vam ustvarjalno predstavljajo?
Fotografirali smo v okolici Louvra in drugih ikoničnih pariških lokacij, saj po našem mnenju najbolje poosebljajo vse, kar predstavlja Pariz – haute couture, vrhunsko modo, eleganco in brezčasno veličino. Te legendarne kulise so bile popolno ozadje za zgodbo, ki združuje modo in brezčasni duh mesta.
Editorial deluje skoraj filmsko, kot prizori iz modne uspešnice. Kako ste gradili vizualno pripoved od prvega do zadnjega kadra?
Vedno razmišljam v zgodbah, ne v posameznih fotografijah. Ena lokacija nas je naravno vodila k naslednji, stiliranje pa se je skozi dan postopoma razvijalo. Začeli smo z izrazitejšimi, dramatičnimi modnimi videzi, nato pa prešli v mehkejše, bolj romantične silhuete. Želel sem ustvariti občutek, da spremljamo lik na njegovem potovanju skozi Pariz, ne pa zgolj dokumentirati mode.
Stiliranje se razvija od dramatične haute couture do nežnih, romantičnih silhuet. Kako je sodelovanje s stilistom oblikovalo to ustvarjalno pot in kaj vam je najpomembnejše pri sestavljanju ekipe?
Sodelovanje s stilistom je bilo za ta projekt ključnega pomena. Njegov izjemen občutek za modo in prepoznaven osebni slog sta me navdihovala že od samega začetka. Ves čas sva si izmenjevala ideje, zaupala drug drugemu in sledila svoji intuiciji. Verjamem, da najboljše ekipe sestavljajo strastni, ustvarjalni in profesionalni ljudje. Ko vsak prispeva svoje znanje in med člani vlada medsebojno zaupanje, postane ustvarjanje čudovitih podob pravo zadovoljstvo.
Modni editoriali le redko potekajo povsem po načrtih. Je bilo med fotografiranjem kaj nepričakovanega, kar je na koncu postalo del zgodbe?
Vsekakor – vreme! V enem samem dnevu smo doživeli dež, sonce, močan veter in le okoli osem stopinj Celzija. Bilo je zelo mrzlo, naš model pa je bil skozi celotno fotografiranje izjemno pogumen. Zame je bil to tudi poseben ustvarjalni izziv, saj fotografiram izključno z naravno svetlobo. Nismo uporabljali bliskavice niti odbojnikov, zato sem se moral ves čas prilagajati temu, kar nam je ponudila narava. Ko danes pogledam fotografije, se zavedam, da so prav te nenehno spreminjajoče se razmere zgodbi dodale posebno pristnost in čustveno globino.
Ali obstaja trenutek s tega fotografiranja, ki vam še danes ostaja v spominu?
Takšnih trenutkov je bilo več, vendar mi je najbolj ostal v spominu trenutek, ko je po dežju sončna svetloba nenadoma prebila oblake. V nekaj sekundah se je spremenilo vse – vzdušje, barve in celotna atmosfera. To so trenutki, ki jih ni mogoče načrtovati, prav oni pa pogosto ustvarijo najmočnejše fotografije.
Če bi morali ta editorial opisati s samo tremi besedami, katere bi izbrali in zakaj?
Atmosferski. Eleganten. Brezčasen.

A delicate veil softens the gaze while preserving an air of mystery, as each silhouette catches the light and reveals a timeless expression of femininity. Between centuries-old stone and golden reflections, every step becomes a gesture of elegance, every detail a tribute to the artistry of Haute Couture.
Paris transforms into an eternal runway, where past and present exist in perfect harmony, and fashion becomes poetry. This is an elegance that does not follow time—it transcends it. Like silk gliding across the skin and golden light drifting through the boulevards, it leaves behind an unforgettable impression of grace, allure, and quiet sophistication.

Every memorable fashion story begins with an idea. What was the starting point for this editorial, and what inspired the overall concept?
For me, Paris is always the beginning of the story. I can wander through the city for hours, constantly discovering new sources of inspiration. Its architecture, atmosphere, and the dialogue between history and contemporary life create a truly unique mood. Fashion naturally became part of that narrative. Collaborating with my stylist, whose personal style I deeply admire, allowed the entire concept to come together effortlessly and organically.
Millions of people photograph Paris every day, yet your editorial celebrates some of its most iconic locations. Why was it important for you to tell this story through these legendary landmarks, and what do they represent to you creatively?
We chose to photograph around the Louvre and several of Paris’s most iconic landmarks because they embody everything the city represents: haute couture, exceptional craftsmanship, elegance, and timeless grandeur. These legendary locations provided the perfect backdrop for telling a story that celebrates both fashion and the spirit of Paris.
This editorial feels incredibly cinematic, almost like scenes from a fashion film. How did you build the visual narrative from the first look to the final frame?
I always think in terms of stories rather than individual images. Each location naturally led us to the next, while the styling evolved throughout the day. We began with bold, dramatic looks and gradually transitioned into softer, more romantic silhouettes. My intention was to create the feeling of following a character through Paris rather than simply documenting fashion.
The styling moves from dramatic haute couture to softer, romantic silhouettes. How did your creative dialogue with the stylist shape that journey, and what matters most to you when building a creative team?
Working with my stylist was essential to the project. His exceptional eye for fashion and distinctive personal style inspired me from the very beginning. We constantly exchanged ideas, trusted each other’s instincts, and allowed creativity to flow naturally. For me, the strongest teams are built on passion, professionalism, creativity, and mutual trust. When everyone contributes their own expertise, creating beautiful imagery becomes an inspiring and joyful experience.
Fashion editorials rarely unfold exactly as planned. Were there any unexpected moments during the shoot that ultimately became part of the story?
Absolutely—the weather! In a single day we experienced everything: rain, sunshine, strong winds, and temperatures of only around 8°C. It was freezing, and our model was incredibly resilient throughout the entire shoot. It was also an additional creative challenge because I work exclusively with natural light. We didn’t use flash or even a reflector, so I had to continuously adapt to whatever nature offered. Looking back, those constantly changing conditions became one of the editorial’s greatest strengths, adding authenticity and emotion to every image.
Is there one particular moment from the shoot that still stays with you today?
There were many memorable moments, but one that remains especially vivid is watching the sunlight suddenly break through the clouds after the rain. Within seconds, everything changed—the atmosphere, the colours, the mood. Those are the moments you can never plan, yet they often create the most powerful photographs.
If you had to describe this editorial in just three words, which would you choose, and why?
Atmospheric. Elegant. Timeless.
Atmospheric, because Paris possesses a mood unlike any other city. Elegant, because of both the fashion and the wonderful collaboration with my stylist. Timeless, because my hope is that these images will feel just as relevant and beautiful many years from now as they do today.
