VERONIKA: FASHION ON HER OWN TERMS
At just 15, Veronika is beginning to shape a creative path of her own. Having grown up surrounded by fashion and entertainment, she first stepped in front of the camera alongside her mother. Today, she is returning to modeling with a new sense of independence and a clear desire to explore the industry on her own terms. With interests spanning fashion, music, education and entrepreneurship, Veronika represents a generation of young people determined to be heard, taken seriously and recognised for what they can achieve.

Veronika, you grew up around fashion and entertainment, but you’re now beginning to define your own path. What does it mean to you to step into this world on your own terms?
From a young age, I modeled alongside my mom, but now I’m trying to forge my own path in the modeling industry. I really want to experience what it is like to model and work independently.
You move naturally between fashion and music. Which of these worlds feels most like your true creative language—and why?
I honestly love them both equally, but if I had to choose, it would be fashion. Ever since I was little, I’ve wanted to start my own clothing company, and fashion has always been a part of my life.
You’ve been entrepreneurial from a young age and are already thinking about creating your own brand. If you could build something entirely your own, what would you want it to say about your generation?
I would want it to convey the message that children are people too. Many people view children and teenagers as being beneath them or assume that they cannot achieve what adults can. I personally don’t agree with that at all.
Working with Antoine Verglas marked a new chapter in your relationship with modeling. How did it feel to return to the camera with a different sense of who you are?
It felt wonderful to be able to choose my own path in life. When I was little, I modeled, but I didn’t really enjoy it. Now that I’m older, I want to return to it, knowing that it is my choice and something I will genuinely enjoy.
At 15, you’re at the beginning of so many possibilities—music, fashion, education and entrepreneurship. When you imagine yourself five years from now, what kind of woman and creative force do you hope to become?
I hope to become someone who inspires others to do better. I have always looked up to teenagers who have spoken publicly about important issues, such as Malala Yousafzai and Greta Thunberg.
