V sklopu Hong Kong Fashion Festa 2026 se vrača VIRTUOSE, oder za couture izjemne izdelave in premišljenega detajla. Štiri znamke iz Španije, Vietnama in Hong Konga pokažejo, kako tradicija postane sodoben izraz. Blišč ni cilj sam po sebi, v ospredju je znanje, ročno delo in kreativnost, ki se čuti v vsakem šivu. Tukaj se couture res meri: po občutku, zgodbi in dolgem odmevu.
Hong Kong Fashion Fest 2026 je 1. septembra začel svojo tretjo edicijo, ki jo predstavlja Vlada HKSAR. Uvodni program “VIRTUOSE: The Artistry of Couture 2026” je potekal v Hong Kong Palace Museum in združil štiri znamke iz Španije, Vietnama in Hong Konga, ki so izpostavile izjemno couture izdelavo in ustvarjalnost.
Na otvoritvi je sekretarka Rosanna Law poudarila, da Fest krepi položaj Hong Konga kot vodilne azijske prestolnice mode ter povezuje ustvarjalno energijo po celotni modni verigi. Večer je dopolnil nov mestni projekt “Wear’s HK”, ki ga letos uvaja Clothing Industry Training Authority. Pop-up od 1. do 14. septembra združuje 20 oblikovalskih znamk na šestih lokacijah in ponuja doživetje nakupovanja v duhu “see-now, try-now, wear-now, buy-now”.

Guillermo Décimo, oblikovalec iz Španije, svoje couture znanje izpopolnjuje skozi mednarodne sodelovanja in poglobljeno delo na področju visoke mode. Phan Huy je vietnamska hiša visoke mode, ustanovljena leta 2023, z nalogo na novo opredeliti moderno luksuznost z dediščino, ročno izdelavo in inovacijami v coutureu. Ustvarjanje poteka v ateljeju na Vietnamskem (od rastlinskih barvil do laserskega krojenja), obleke pa nastajajo skrbno izdelane z izjemno pozornostjo do detajlov—že z vidnimi mednarodnimi preboji na haute couture koledarju.

Tigerstrolling je avantgardna blagovna znamka iz Hong Konga, ki jo soustvarjata Tiger Chung Ka Ching in Tiger Chung Tsz Ho—z razmerjem med prefinjenostjo in nekoliko uporniško radovednostjo. Njihov prepoznaven pristop (razgrajeno krojenje, nepričakovane proporcije in regeneracija materialov) pretvarja družbeno pomembne teme v couture izjave z izrazito eksperimentalno in trajnostno energijo.
VIVIAN LUK (Hong Kong)
Vivian Luk Atelier je zrasel iz Vivianinega šolanja v New Yorku in začetka kariere na področju made-to-order bridal ter couture za zvezde. Njeno delo raziskuje psihologijo oblačil: oblačila kot zaščita in kot izraz—z uporabo strukturiranih materialov in “skritim” mojstrstvom (boning, žice, ročno delo in natančno krojenje), da tkanino preobrazi v nekaj tekočega, živega in tiho zapletenega.

Hong Kong Fashion Fest launches its third edition—VIRTUOSE takes the stage
As part of Hong Kong Fashion Fest 2026, VIRTUOSE returns—an opening stage dedicated to couture craftsmanship and considered detail. Four brands from Spain, Vietnam, and Hong Kong show how tradition can evolve into a contemporary language of style. The goal isn’t empty glamour, but expertise, handwork, and creativity that you can feel in every stitch. This is couture at its most meaningful: remembered for its story and lasting impact.

Hong Kong Fashion Fest 2026 kicked off its third edition on September 1, presented by the Government of the HKSAR. The opening programme, “VIRTUOSE: The Artistry of Couture 2026”, was held at the Hong Kong Palace Museum, bringing together four brands from Spain, Vietnam and Hong Kong to showcase exceptional couture craftsmanship and creativity.
Speaking at the ceremony, Miss Rosanna Law said the Fest reflects the HKSAR Government’s commitment to strengthening Hong Kong as Asia’s premier fashion design capital. The evening also featured “Wear’s HK”, a fresh initiative that brings fashion pop-up stores into retail venues—helping the public and visitors experience the energy of local creativity.

Guillermo Décimo is a Spanish couture artist trained in Burgos, whose work is honed through haute-couture collaborations and museum-level technique. His 2025 collection In Tempo draws on 1950s salon elegance, exploring precision and craftsmanship while calling for a slower, more considered rhythm in fashion.
PHAN HUY (Vietnam)
Phan Huy is a Vietnamese haute couture house founded in 2023, dedicated to redefining modern luxury through heritage, artisanal craftsmanship, and couture innovation. Rooted in Vietnam-based atelier work—from plant-based dyeing to laser pattern cutting—its pieces are handcrafted with meticulous detail and have already reached the international haute couture calendar.

Tigerstrolling is an avant-garde Hong Kong label co-founded by Tiger Chung Ka Ching and Tiger Chung Tsz Ho, blending sophistication with subversive wit. Through deconstructed tailoring, unexpected proportions, and material regeneration, the brand turns pressing social themes into couture-level statements with an experimental, sustainability-led edge.
VIVIAN LUK (Hong Kong)
Vivian Luk Atelier grew from Vivian’s training in New York and her early career in made-to-order bridal and celebrity couture. Her work explores the psychology of what we wear—clothing as armour and expression—using structured fabrics with hidden craftsmanship (boning, wiring, handwork and precise cutting) to create designs that feel fluid, alive, and quietly complex.
